Chiropractic Helps Most Common Headaches

Headaches affect millions of people every year. The most common headaches are Tension Type Headaches, Cervicogenic Headaches, and the most widely known, the Migraine. Chiropractic adjustments to the upper neck are very effective at easing the frequency and intensity of these types of headaches. A thorough exam of the neck may reveal joints that are not moving properly. These stuck joints become swollen and begin irritating nearby spinal nerves. Irritated spinal nerves produce that sharp pain in the back of the head as well as causing local muscle spasms. Spasm in the muscles at the base of the skull will produce that intense dull achy pain that goes up the back of the head and through the head to behind the eyes. Even though these three types of headaches each have a different cause, they all tend to share the same muscle and joint symptoms. Chiropractic adjustments to restore the lost motion of the spinal joints help decrease the pain of all three types of headaches. If you or someone you know is suffering from any of the above symptoms please call and set up an evaluation. The office number is 620-342-4006 or visit us online at Emporia Headache Chiropractor.

Gazette Chat

This is the photo taken by The Emporia Gazette while I was answering online questions about chiropractic. The chat was great. We received some wonderful questions. This was a fun experience for me. Check it out online at the Emporia Gazette and leave me a comment about what you think. This photo and the print version of the chat should be in Thursday's paper.

Emporia Gazette - Ask a chiropractor forum

Good morning.

This afternoon I am participating in an online forum with the Emporia Gazette. The topic is "Ask the Chiropractor". The link to the post is Emporia Gazette. The gazette will print the answers in the newspaper within a few days. This is my first forum like this so I hope I get some good questions. I am looking forward to getting some information out there. I'll let you know how it goes.
